3 stars out of 5

Extraction 1 ends with the death of Chris (Tyler Rake), however in this sequel, the movie starts with recue of Chris who is grievously wounded after his Dhaka Mission. He is given respiratory support and shifted to Dubai, for treatment, Once he gets fit, Idris gives him and his team a new task. The mission includes Extraction of the family of a Dreaded criminal from a Prison in Georgia. During the process its learned that, the family being extracted is related to past on Tyler. The movie revolves around how Tyler extracts the family and how they related to his past.

Even though it’s a routine plot, which was in many movies in the past, however Sam, tried to pull it well, Chris was as usual fits the bills of the role and was rocking. Apart from that we get to see a 21 minutes long action sequence of Rake killing dozens of inmates on his way out of prison, followed by a breathless car chase and a train wreck. The cinematography by Greg Baldi is the best thing about ‘Extraction 2’, the Action sequences are amazing & Unlike the first part, this time around there is enough role for Golshifteh Farahani and Adam Bessa as Rake’s teammates, who did with ease.

Well the movie is a good one time watch, I am going with 3 stars out of 5
