Story:
Dhadak 2, a spiritual sequel to the 2018 film Dhadak, follows Neelesh (Siddhant Chaturvedi), a law student from a marginalized caste, who falls in love with Vidhi (Triptii Dimri), an upper-caste classmate. Set in an unnamed city and in an unnamed National Law University, their inter-caste romance faces brutal opposition, exploring themes of caste discrimination and resilience. This Movies seems to be inspired by the Tamil film Pariyerum Perumal.

Strengths:
Siddhant Chaturvedi delivers a compelling performance, capturing Neelesh’s struggle with authenticity. Triptii Dimri shines as Vidhi, adding emotional depth. The film’s raw portrayal of caste issues and cultural discriminations stand out.

Direction & Cinematography:
Shazia Iqbal’s direction is bold, tackling a sensitive subject with Raw Honesty, though the pacing lags in the first half. But Cinematography captures the stark contrasts of the settings effectively, but the climax feels restrained.

Verdict:
Dhadak 2 is a poignant take on caste and love, elevated by strong performances and a relevant narrative. However, its uneven pacing and cautious resolution limit its impact. Worth a watch for its courage, especially in theaters.
