Vidudhala- Part 1
A Tamil dubbed movie in Telegu with original name Viduthalai Part 1, staring comedian Soori. and Vijay Sethupathi and directed by National Award-winner Vetrimaaran
Vidudala Part 1 is a realistic period cop drama set in the back drop of naxal/rebel movement of educated people to protect the forests from government sale to corporates and mining industry.
The Movie revolves around the police hunt for Perumal( Vijay Setupathi) and how Soori ( Police Driver), with compassion cop, ignored by his superiors try to hunt for Perumal.
Soori a usual comedian can be seen in the lead role, his acting was upto the mark and deserves a kudos. Vijay was as usual a natural star and acted flawlessly with ease.
Bhavani Sre is exceptional in the non glamorous role of Tamilarasi.
The picturization and cinematography was excellent especially the wide angle Ariel shots from drones.
Even though the story is routine, Vetrimaaran has pulled it along well, hence a good watch.
